NCHSAA Football Regional Scores

The regional final matchups had some blowouts and heartbreakers. Jack Britt and Butler just ran through their opponents setting up a great 4AA State Championship game. Wake Forest Rolesville definitely missed Running Back Trea Jones in their game with Jack Britt! Reidsville beat Kinston 26-0, SW Onslow beat Goldsboro 42-6, and Albermarle beat West Montgomery 31-0. These next teams needed every minute of overtime and regulation to win their regional final game. We will start with South Johnston. They used three overtimes to slip past Southern Nash by 1 point. Next, Newton Conover took out Salisbury 17-10 in overtime. Asheville Reynolds beat Dudley 9-8 and Mount Airy beat Robbinsville 27-26.
