Well it's the last week of the NCHSAA Football Playoff picks. We have got Damien Howard, Seth Herbstreit, and I, Dustin Corso to pick these great Championship games. Thanks for checking out the picks each week on the blog and stay tuned for scores on each game Sunday morning!
Our BCS Championship Game! 4AA Final: Butler (14-0) vs. Jack Britt (15-0)
Howard, Herbstreit, and Corso all pick Butler to win. Butler has just dominated this whole season!
4A Final: Asheville Reynolds (13-2) vs.Harnett Central (15-0) Howard and Herbstreit pick Harnett Central. Corso will go with the underdog Asheville Reynolds since Harnett Central struggled last game and has that undefeated monkey on their back.
3AA Final: Belmont South Point (13-2) vs. South Johnston (14-1)Howard, Herbstreit, and Corso all pick Belmont South Point. South Johnston struggled in their last game and South Point has been dominating in the playoffs. 3A Final: West Rowan (15-0) vs. Eastern Alamance (14-1) Howard, Herbstreit, and Corso all pick West Rowan. West Rowan and Eastern Alamance could go either way. 2AA Final: Newton-Conover (14-1) vs. Reidsville (15-0) Howard and Herbstreit are going with Reidsville. Corso is going with Newton-Conover with the upset.
2A Final: Mountain Heritage (13-2) vs. Tarboro (14-1) Howard, Herbstreit, and Corso all going with Tarboro. Tarboro was challenged once in the playoffs, but has dominated the competition this year.
1AA Final: Albemarle (15-0) vs. Southwest Onslow (14-0) Howard, Herbstreit, and Corso all pick Albemarle. Best matchup of the playoffs, and somehow we all went with Albemarle! 1A Final: Mount Airy (15-0) vs. Wallace Rose-Hill (13-2) Howard, Herbstreit, and Corso all pick Mount Airy. This team has the complete package, and going for back to back titles!
I knew I should have picked Wallace-Rose Hill. I had a feeling about them all week! Bet that was an exciting one! 1pt OT win!
